Would I prefer Mathers or Goldy at full-back after Richie.

Went off the boil at the end of last season but I would highly doubt we would get rid of anyone unless another club came in to take his contract off our hands.

I'm kind of hoping that if this is the case, we do have someone signed already and lined up.

Rumours about Mathers leaving have abounded since IM arrived and it makes me wonder whether there is some history between them....were they at Wigan at the same time?

I quite like Mathers the player, it's just Mathers the person who comes across as a bit of a tool. I'd still prefer Tongia though, but Mathers is certianly an improvement on Blaymire.

He is a confidence player, Excellent when hes on it - would not get picked before me in a Panthers masters game rest of the time

Certainly seems to be on his way out. I'll take some convincing that this is a wise move on our part.
