i wonder if he goes by the name fred. He definately played during the sixties. I remember a story he told me about him being an unused sub in the challenge cup final. How, they were told to take a kiwi full back out as early as possible and how you could hear his jaw crack from the subs bench. Ouch!

FranK was sub in 1969 but they didn't use the subs then so he didn't play

he is definately our man then. I wonder why he calls himself fred. He has some great stories about cas at that time. Best one is how the coach at the time used to go over the road to the pub at half time. He said they were playing a team that was supposed to be a walk over and they knew the following week was a tough match so they took it easy. They went in at half time eighteen up. When the coach came back from the pub at half time he told them none of them were not going to be paid formnv trying!

possibly his Dad was called Frank as well my cousin does that, his Dad is also Peter but he uses his middle name of Lee

Aye, my grandad is called Sa. But my Dad, Uncle and me all get called Sam. Even though its not our names. Strange really. One of my Dads mates came into my work. Everyone wondered why the hell he was calling me Sam

My dad calls me Sam, and all his mates call me Sam, and my uncle and cousins call me Sam. My name isn't Sam and neither my dad, grandad or great grandad are called Sam. My dad just wants to call me Sam. Confusing for some when he does it but i just think it's funny.
