ive got to agree with matterson,hudds were attacking the head in the tackle luke robinson was by far the worst.by attacking the head i dont mean high shots but its a wrestling technique that is banned in the nrl and needs to be stomped out of the game over here.

imo the penalty count was areflection on the game and the only strange decision was how knowone had been sin binned earlier.

this isnt sour grapes has hudds deserved their win but i can fully understand matterson not been happy about his players been attacked.

To be fair to him he is never usually bitter after a defeat and I do agree that Huddersfields dicsipline at times was shocking but we had enough penaltys and enough of the ball to put the game beyond Huddersfield but we failed to do that. I personally think if Owen had tried to run that ball he kicked dead from his in goal area then we would have won as Huddersfield got the ball and scored a try straight from the drop out. But It's all what Ifs. We need to put this beyond us and take the positives into Fridays game.

To be fair, although not a Cas or Shuddersfield fan, but there supporting Cas with mates, he is not that far off the mark.

The reffing was certainly inconsistent. If he had have been consistent with the decisions, the penatly count would have been far closer.

That said, although it is embarrasing for coaches to not be gracious in defeat, what Matterson said was not wrong. Shuddersfield were grapple tackling often.

we did alot of it last season but it seems to have gone out of our game this year

Huddersfield were getting more men in the tackle, which is why we controlled the ruck more.

Cas were just holding down and in many cases flopping on.

Huddersfield were penalised, correctly for their infringements each time, Cas got away with it, or are you actually suggesting there wasnt a single offence caused by Cas in that second half?
