Fantastic prospect and already played pretty well in SL when he's been given the chance. There have been various rumours about his off-field antics and the possibility that Ryan has been left out of games by Matterson as a result but these haven't been confirmed or denied by anyone in the know.

I would hope that he would be signing one of these lengthy contracts but the longer this goes on, the more worried I am that he will leave.

The problem with "people in the know" is that they often don't know anything.

We need it confirming by the club, which won't happen until he leaves ie. Sione

Yeah, this is what I'm getting at. For example I've heard a story about an incident at a bar in Xscape involving Ryan and a member of staff there from someone involved so I have no reason to believe it to be false, but that's not to say it is or it isn't.

I want him to stay at the club because he's going to be a great player. If there are off-field issues, they should be addressed in house. If there aren't, then it would be nice to know why he's not playing because IMO he should be.

I don’t believe its off field antics keeping him out of the team, anyone who knows him will say the same as me, he’s a shy lad who’s always polite and approachable and he doesn’t cause trouble, he does like a drink though but usually with his missus or team mates and no ones questioning the rest of the teams off field antics, I think its just people looking for reasons as to why TM isn’t playing him but I think that’s just down to personal differences, I don’t think TM is the best coach for developing him and although it annoys us as fans we do want to keep the players we are going to play and not the ones we are going to pay to sit in the stands and rot it’s a shame but I cant see him at Cas next year

It would be very nice to hear why certain individuals, not just Ryan, are not getting game time

Unfortunately in sport that will never happen :(

I've said this before but i firmly believe that TM is a coach who plays his favourites and not on ability. And it seems, as Keith Mason wasn't, Ryan isn't a favourite for one reason or another

think you are right there mate. think ryans face doesn't fit. its common knowledge that if you are not in the click you are not the team. tm has his favourites and turns a blind eye to all their off field misdemeanours. hope he comes to wakey. think the lad has a great future.

It's also common knowledge that you talk a load of rubbish Michael...

He's our 5th choice prop and only just 21.

I think he's played a reasonable amount of games this season, i would expect him to push and play more next season.

There's no proof that he's had a fall out with Matterson.

Maybe not but not being selected when playing better than others who are selected(according to your own fans) does raise questions!!
