McGoldrick has only looked good in NL1...I repeat NL1. In SL, he is completely put of his depth and has lost his 'go forward'. To be fair i thought he didn't look good in NL1, last year he was terrible, and i was shocked when he got such a long contract, to be fair i was secretly hoping wigan signed him when it was rumoured.
Start of this season tho he made me eat my words and played pretty well, but looks like in the second half he has reverted back to form.
He's shouldn't take all the blame tho.
We've had a very good season so far, and if we make the play offs, matterson should be given loads of praise, but we need to put ina good perfromance next week and not let this result spoil the rest of the season.
. Why not put a youngster in if he wanted to play Mcgoldrick at full back or at least someone that could play there/has played there before.
