Has anyone thought about looking beyond just the fixture itself?



We know we need cash and friendlies don't generally pull much money in, particularly with shared gates. It beats playing against like someone like York/Gateshead, no offence to them, down the lane with virtually nil support.



I'd rather have a local derby with at least a 3.5k-4k crowd that will bring in some cash for us. Along with the 10,000 (guaranteed so they say) from Bradford on Boxing Day, the programme should be focused on £ and attendances, as well as challenging warm-up games.

Wish some people would think before they post on rugby forums just shows what kind of people support the clubs



As a Fev fan I will be there with the other half and the cas fans that I work with I hope for a great day before and after the match with them and lets hope it's a good hit out for the players too

Don't worry about Hull KR, if "buy" any chance you come to us this season, you will be able to "by" aticket for our shiny new £8m North Stand development, enjoy.

And that will depend on what time in the season we will be playing you at your place.

Don't see what all the fuss is about to be honest, fev are our local rivals and i enjoy when we play them personally, they have some idiots but so do we.



They might bring a few more than normal too after beating us for the first time in 20 years

Bradford aren't playing you on Boxing Day. We're only playing two friendlies this year and those are Leeds and dewsbury

I just think it's time we stopped entertaining Fev as our 'local rivals' ...there's no 'rivalry' by definition - we aren't playing each other in the same competition or competing for the same things.



The sooner we stop calling them our local rivals, the sooner they will focus on their own club rather than ours.



Hypothetically speaking, I wouldn't be fussed if we lose 60-24 to fev in a friendly... if the twenty four points came from trial plays, and a new defensive system was shown to be ineffective ASAP.



That way it's a win-win really. We have got something constructive from a warm up game, and they can be thrilled to death about beating us

Looks like we don't have a game on Boxing Day arranged yet. I have heard Leeds will be playing Bulls at Headingley.

Doubt it. Leeds play Bradford at Headingly on January 20th, its Danny McGuires testemonial match.
