thats what I thought too, but question was actually asked of the club last week and whilst he plays for cook islands he is still a full quota player. quota is 5 next year. IF you only want to sign 4 quota players feel free though

I see that Wakey have just signed some Dean Collis from the NRL, and we are still waiting for some news, any news, that will inspire tickets sales for next season. Doh!!

Difference is a lot of these clubs are playing catch-up and are signing just about anybody that may be half-decent to put a squad together.

Wakefield are in the position we were after promotion back to SL in 2008. Big turnover in players in first season, build from there in years 2/3.

Correct you have a settled squad and only need to add to it, we need a large turnover.

The latest signing will hardly help ST ticket sales.

Exactly. You have some decent squad players already and so you need to build around them. Not just that, it creates a better environment for the youngsters to come into when you have a stronger, more stable squad.
