George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

Who would have been fined had it been Cas fans chanting at Wrexham?

If it had been Leeds fans chanting at Wrexham Cas would prob have been fined.

Equity? Balance? Fairness? Strange concepts to a Wiganner maybe, but quite a lot of people stand by them.

if a taxi driver was hauled before the courts for not having a bale of hay in his boot (or whatever the archaic law is) then he might have cause to wonder why he's the only one picked on when it's patently obvious that every f**ker else is breaking the same law too.

That is still no reason to complain that you have been caught not doing enough to stop the abusive chanting. There is, as yet, no evidence that such chanting has been heard at other games so the point is mute.

Disco wrote:
They took steps. As I understand it they made tannoy announcements and sent stewards into the crowd.

Again, as I understand it Cas have had CCTV installed to monitor the crowd, but perhaps we're missing a trick here. Do other clubs insist on passports and DNA swabs?

They did challenge it. You concede they 'may' be able to appeal this.

Then if all these steps have been taken, the fine will have to be revoked and an apology served from Red Hall, won't it. Maybe an internal inquiry could be held at Cas to find out why this evidence of what the club did (which only seems to have appeared very late in this thread) was not presented when the fine was first imposed.

Disco wrote:
No idea if they did, but the word 'meaningful' makes this entirely subjective anyway.

Many items in law are subjective, being decided ultimately by tribunals, majistrates, and judges. That doesn't lessen their validity.

Stop putting words into my mouth. It's a shame for Cas we played first because we got fined, I didn't say I would be supportive of any other club getting fined - I would still be as appalled as I am. Of course I'd PREFER it to happen to a club that isn't my own, but that doesn't mean I would agree with it.

And I've never said people are homosexual through choice either.

Its a shame for cas that they have a small minority of fans that keep causing the club so much trouble! the homosexuality through choice remark was aimed at others, apologies if you thought otherwise.

Mute point as the player didn't complain (unless you are using the link to suggest GT shouldn't have complained?)

viewtopic.php?f=28&t=455274&start=0
Wrong again but given this refers to comments on a thread not at the game (unless I've missed something) do you expect the RFL to take action based on what they read on a thread? If you do then hope they don't read this viewtopic.php?f=16&t=457708

http://www.nonleagueforum.co.uk/viewtop ... pid=233608 Given this a a football thread would you like to include the thuggery from football as well as their view on ginger people, or is it just a thread that fitted the argument?

I suppose you could argue the point is moot, but given that we're on 12 pages already, it's certainly not 'mute'.

Actually gareth thomas in one of his many interviews on the subject has said that he suffered similar chanting at another ground afterwards.
