I'm also concerned about recruitment, or rather our lack of it, but do remember how this time last year Salford were going crazy signing up players all over the place. Their squad this year had loads of new players with plenty of paper promise.

How did that work out for them, then?

Same for Bradford.

See where I'm going with this...?

Stability = GOOD
Change on a massive scale = BAD

...but still no change at all (unless you won the grand final) = BAD

We need to plug the gaps caused by players leaving us, but we don't need 10 new players like Quins.

I wonder if this is a case of both clubs being happy not to deny an inflated figure. Under-fire Bradford board seeking to appease their fans and the new Hull owner eager to demonstrate pulling power.
