After about 5 games of SL we had some Cas Clown on here saying he was a bad signing and will never make it in Super League...

Last week we had another Cas Clown saying he was wasted at hooker and playing him there was akin to playing Steven Gerrard in goal for Liverpool...

Always pleasing when one of our players proves the clowns wrong...

Up your own booty this week aren't we!!!. Yes I was the one that made the comment about him playing hooker and also the reference to Steven Gerrard. This was my opinion Poker Face on where he was playing in that particular match (Halifax) and thought he would be better in open play against lesser apponents. There was no aggression in my statement and wanted to not only put my view across, but get the views of others. Don't think it warrants being called a Clown, do you?? Yes he was good on Friday, but we bought him as a stand off and that is where he will play when Hudson/Netherton are fit.

Out of Diskin, Buderus and Chase he was. Seriously, are you a 14-year-old kid or just deluded? I'm trying to figure out which but I'm really struggling.

I'm not even being biased here. I generally thought that the result was fair on measure of it, on the basis of your superb defensive effort.

I thought had it stayed at 22-all then yes, OK, it would probably still have been a fair result. 24-22 I can accept because both sides put in an enormous amount of effort given the conditions, and that was a superb game of rugby? Can you see footballers playing in the same venom, speed or quality in those conditions? No. It was a superb advent for our game, and shows the level that SL is reaching

There were errors for both sides in terms of refereeing. I recall two errors made in front of our sticks by us in the 2nd half that went uncalled for, and probably would have resulted in Leeds tries. That said, there were mistakes vis-a-vis that went against us, and more than likely SHOULD have been picked up for.

sorry just read this!! i was been straight up chase was awesome, i wasnt been sarky

So what if he was brought over as a Stand Off, most of his career so far has been as an impact hooker so to say he's not a hooker is quite clownish to say it's like playing Gerrard in goal, seems Chase is well, actually a hooker primarily.

Buy why call someone a clown??? This is a forum (well it was the last time I looked). If you didn't agree with the post then fine, that's what it's all about. But there are ways and means. I don't claim to be right (as that would be arrocant) and I did admit that I wasn't sure who to play there when asked, th game at the time needed him to be in a more attacking role than just dummy half. I admit he played a lot better in that role against Leeds.

I never said that he wasn't an hooker, I said that I felt he was wasted in that position. If he's an impact hooker then why not buy a stand off then instead of buying 2 hookers. Are you saying that he was bought as an hooker and not a stand off?

Just as well he's in form, becuase Raz is still ages off - cast from his bicep to his hand still so we need him to fire.

Rangi is quality for sure, but we need Goldy/Owen back soon..... If it is the same injury we can say Goldy is 3 weeks from now - plus however many more Owen misses if that makes sense.

Where are we on Widders and Chubs anyone know?
