Yes, Sherwin takes up a fair wedge on the salary cap and misses too many matches. Don't think anyone doubts his quality when he plays, but it's a waste of money when he is sitting in the stand.
However, you can never predict injuries. You might sign a player who has barely ever missed a game and he gets a bad one and is out all year. Just seems inevitable that Sherwin misses too much game-time.
On the other hand, who is going to come in and replace him? And what's to say he won't get a bad injury? We'd all like to see Myler as our 7 but apart from that what's the option? Good sevens are difficult to come by.
