Considering some of the clubs that have been mentioned with him that seems a very poor choice. No offense to Salford but at this time their franchise & off-field team (coaching & managerial) is a joke.

I don't want this to turn into a bash Salford thread, but Salford are rubbish, they'll never get a stadium, their management is a joke and they should be kicked out of SL...

At leat we can both (cas & wake) say that any mangerial disagreements to go on stay out of the public arena, i.e Big shaun's "go on then.. sack me!" rant on the bbc. It's just no proffesional.
In terms of attendence they are behind both of us, and concerning youth development are almost a light year behind both of us.
The only point they could use ala franchise time (apart from stadiums, but i'm not talking about that!) to claim parity with either of our clubs would be average position, and wouldn't concern Wakefield.
From what i have heard this morning it comes down to wanting to move home, but that again to me shows a limited ambition, i mean when asked if Gaz Ellis would ever come "home" to Cas he just laughed "..lock-lane.....yeah right!".

That's not what I heard, although that was a week and half ago so things may have changed since then. Salford are top of the list tho

I really hope that there is no truth in this rumour (i say rumour until I see a link confirming). We need to try to hang on to this guy, but that said, if he does go I hop that he does better for himself than Salford (no disrespect to them, but not exactly a forward move for Ryan IMO)

One team denies the rumours. According to that Leeds and Wakefield left.

Ryan has been offered a deal with Salford, however he wants to play for Cas, Mr McRae maybe denying any links but he is telling porkies.

Cas should be putting a decent offer on the table in order for us to carry on Ryans development, he is still young and will develop however it appears he is not one of TM's favourites.

Teams like St Helens and Leeds have built success on developing their own youngsters and Cas need to do the same
