If you actually put your brain in gear and read what the fine was for, it was for FAILING TO STOP THE CHANTS, just like Leeds did today, they didn't stop the chanting, therefore in the same boat.

What were the chants that lead to this dour fine, "We can see you holding hands" & what else? If it was "Gt takes it up the bum", is that homophobia?

Castleford were found guilty of unacceptable behaviour, of breaching the RFL’s Respect Policy, of misconduct by their supporters and of conduct prejudicial to the interests of the sport.

The tribunal was chaired by his Honour Judge Rodney Grant who criticised the club for failing to take steps to stop the homophobic chanting.
Sorry gaslight,you need to turn the gas up so you can see better,not chanting,homophobic chanting, a bit of a difference fella but as you said RW has a list of the ones that did it,lets see if his hand has been forced.Just a shame that it takes a huge fine for Cas to do such a simples thing of banning a few idiots.

Wrong, we want equal punishments for everyone, or else the RFL will get laughed out of court at the appeal, and would be open to be sued by Cas if they don't take appropriate action against Leeds for their failure to stop abuse aimed at an opposition player (in the respect policy) and abuse aimed at the referee (again, in the respect policy).

PAC has got to be on here for the wind up. Otherwise the RFL respect policy would simply say.....'shout or chant whatever you want as long as you don't mention their sexuality.' As we all know....it actually says much more than that. The end!

I'd bet that the last thing your club needs right now is a confrontation with the RFL, so i'd seriously urge Cas to re-consider their actions more carefully and to actually be seen to actually do something about the problem

Why not make a stand as a club and ban these homophobic morons from your ground once and for all?

I'm guessing you are an official within the RFL then The Chin's Back, since you have failed to see what the cas club have been doing BEFORE, during and after the incident. Take the time to go to the Tigers website and read the reasons why the Cas club feels hard done by with the severity of the fine. The RFL have given the reason that the Cas club failed to act upon the chants when according to the version Cas have written in their statement, i can't see much else they could have done apart from randomly throw a handgrenade in the direction of the chanting. After the Catalans incident last year, the club stepped up their efforts and then this incident gets them an astonishing £40k fine even though the Cas club feel they are doing, and did all they could.

Has the club found out who these morons are yet?
Surely someone stood nearby knows who they all are,and should report them to the club so that they can receive lifetime bans.
Do the club have any CCTV cameras inside the ground?
