Thats b0llocks, because if Hull FC wanted him that badly, they'd offer him more than us. If Bradford really was his last option he's have waited longer than this to sign for us.

Lynch is a great prop.

However, I'm very pleased we didn't sign him:

Props are the least of our worries. Had we signed him Higgins or Boyle would certainly have been shown the door. Both are younger and it's fair to assume on much less money.

A RFL contract year runs from 1st of December to the 30th of November.

and despite when announcments are made 90% of clubs squads are sorted before the end of July so it is extremely important a player can get his future sorted ASAP before clubs potentially spend valuable cap money which would have restricted andy from getting the deal he wanted. plus andy didnt want to move form Kippax.
