"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall"

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League"

Well done for posting an article.......but now go back, read it, and copy and paste the quote from the club that states we've sold the ground. I'll give you a clue, it usually ends in 'Mr Wright said' or has these " " things.

Richard Wright, Tigers’ chief executive, said: “We welcome the news that gives the go-ahead for future development at The Jungle."

Not quite sure what else you want. Personally, I hope you get your new ground along with ourselves, but it just seems like Richard Wright gives out different messages each week. Like someone said earlier, it comes across as stalling tactics.

I'm going to be as polite as possible here but can the thread derailing trolls kindly feck off this thread. You constantly spoil threads about the stadiums on both boards with your constant arguing and dick measuring. As i say kindly feck off and leave this one to talk of brick buying.

Are you thick ?

Where does he say (RW) the ground has been sold ? As far as I can see I think RW means that the Chemical Plant has been blocking the sale of the ground but now that has been lifted we can go ahead and sell the ground. The rest just seems like lazy journalism.

Sorry, Marshy, if I seem a little arsey tonight. Was hoping to come on here and find a long thread about people buying bricks but knew the WTW lot would probably come out to play. No doubt it will transfer itself across to their forum soon enough.

Aside from that, anybody thought about messages on their bricks? RIP Wheldon Rd 1926-2011
