I'm thinking Wakey and Cas for the cup this year. Now that would be a special occasion.

TBH I couldn't bare that - it would be 2006 all over again and your probably due the spoils. Even if we won I wouldn't have the heart to lord it over you as I could really empathise with you on that one. Both sets of fans are well overdue some silverwear especially us, lets take it from Saints or Wigan as they already have plenty.

This is no Vasty love in with Cas - I love beating you but who needs that extra edge at Wembley. If either of us made it all the way we'd enjoy it no matter who we beat - if we lost at least it wouldn't be to our nearest and dearest - to much for either of us to face up to the next monday.

I don't need that much pressure

Would be brilliant though wouldn't it, would really show the other teams not to write either of us off, which I cant believe a lot of other teams fans still do.

Of course you would lord it over us if you won, and rightly so, it's just friendly banter!

Disco - Expansion of the game is a good thing, undoubtedly, but in the main what people simply want to assert is that you don't kill the roots to spread the tree.

The Curtism - The battles are fought on the field and the friends are made in the bar. There's no hatred among real men.

Very well said, was gonna say the same thing myself.

We needed that, and well done to the players for the good response after wakey game, think it was just a blip myself.

Bad weather syndrome - need to pray to the sun gods to keep the sun shining on all our games.

However back to previous Trinity postings - if the town of Wakie got behind their team i.e. more speccies watching them, they would get taken more seriously!!! Thier attendances have not broken any records - certainly does not reflect their league position!!

It's not about speccies is it - that is such a myth usually peddled by teams who are underachieving. If Wakefield can produce a 4th placed SL team within the budget they have then why would bigger crowds make us a more serious opposition - don't talk such rubbish.

You don't take clubs seeriously because they have more fans, or make more noise or have better bogs, it's what happens on the pitch and only on the pitch that matters. The rest is irrelevent rather like your post.

The Roosters are one of the NRL's least well supported teams, but they do OK all the same.

When will some Cas fans crowd obsession ever end, it's not like you have ended up doing better than us is it.

Finally if there was only 6,500 at BV today then the ground has shrunk, more like 8,000 - why we think it's a good idea to put out the wrong figure I don't know. It may save a bit of VAT but it's crap PR.
