Glad to hear that Westy is ok

The one thing that all RL fans have in common is that as much as they boo certain players on a matchday, they would never wish any harm to them

While there was nothing malicious in the tackle, it certainly looked a bit dangerous to me - clearly the result demonstrated this, and I think Ian Smith recognised this in hindsight.

All the best to Joe for recovery though, and let's hope there is no lasting damage.

Sorry to hear the news about your outstanding talent Joe Westerman. He has a bright future ahead of him within the game and as I stated on our own website, I hope it does not rock his confidence.

I thought that too. It was Pryce who ran over to the ref to stop the game then within 2 minutes he was getting grieff. I overheard a female cas fan having a right go at the saints players for not doing anything to help calling them arrogant W*****s. God know what she wanted them to do!!!!

Im suprised that no one has metioned the fact that it took the match officials over a minute to stop the game. If god forbid the injury was a lot worse to to Joe the medical staff would have lost valuable time because the officials did respond quicker.

Even if the ref had missed the fact Joe was hurt there are at least 4 other officials and a bloke in the stand one of them could surely see. One of the touch judges could of flagged cant tell me they both missed it.
