Not shooting you down mate, i'm just bemused you've taken a good win over a good side and concentrated on the negative. Each to their own I guess.

But you got penalised 4 times for head shots and numerous times for messing about in the tackle to the point that I thought a sin bin was in order late on.
The only puzzling decision I can think of was the penalty against Clint Newton for a shove off the ball (Deserved), but yet when you shoved off the ball actually in the play of the ball Hewer seemed to ignore it but I guess inconsistancy is what the refs do well.

I've got nothing against whining at refereeing decisions if it float your boat, but tbh I'd prefer it if you kept it on your own board especially when you've won the game. Coming on here and banging on about it is just taking the p*ss in my view, but maybe I'm just old enough to recall what 'magnanimous' means.

Whatever. Your analysis certainly doesn't reflect the 12-5 penalty count in KR's favour, or the (according to the impartial Yorkshire Radio team) numerous 50-50's which went the home side's way. Perhaps they're all Cas fans?

I was there btw.
Anything else to say?

Thank you.

Im not whining fella infact if you read my post you will see that I only found one decision puzzling.
Cas played very well tonight and it was a tight game which could have gone either way until our last score with both defences on top.

Not whining more like 'puzzling'
There were brain explosions from both sides yours were through penalities ours was more through dumb plays at dumb times due to the Cas outstanding defence.
You also broke out Defensive line more that I liked but again that is why you are playing so well.
A classic situation from our 'booboys' was when Kris Welham ran 40 meters to score a try and was held up short on the last tackle, he was stupid enough to decide it would be an awfully good idea to try and take an age with the hand over and was righty punished, The crowd went nuts over this which had me shaking my head in disbelief as it was clearly the penatly the ref had blown for.
Im nothing if im not at least trying to be fair.
My point is that on those two situations there was a shove which was correctly punished and one that imho wasn't which was why I mentioned ref's lack of consistancy.

At least one Yes.
Plus you do know that even the smallest impact to the head can if the person is very, very unlucky lead to very serious injuries dont you?
But it seems that you think headshots are 'ok' so ill be writing the the RFL telling them to remove the headshot penalty and pointing them in your direction as apparetly it was ok back in the day :?

I can't comment on the validity of those penalties, but if we're going to help sides up the field, then expect to have points put past us.

Shame really, but oh well. Look forward to have another tough tussle against Hudds, the bloody cheating, man-handling set of bleeders.

Watched the game tonight and thought your pack was very good. Was impressed with Sargent and we couldn't put Feather down.

Think Sherwin let you down though!

But, do you think Castleford purposely employed this tactic like Boris stated? There can be shots which have 'gone wrong'. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt as I would never envisage any player purposely (barring rare cases, if any) going out to hit a player high.

That's all i'm wondering, why did Boris want to make the point and single out Cas for the shots when it's actually been a talking point all year.

That, coupled with that it seems not many other Rovers fans have commented on these 'deliberate tactics', these are genuine questions, no need to resort to the herione comeback (though I wish I was on it at this moment in time  )
