Wakefield Vs Wigan : Mon Apr 27, 2009 8:47 am
I attended this game yesterday (couldn't make it to Wales)

And i have to say it was a great advertisement for our game, i actually really enjoyed the match.....even if the Wakefield supporters i was surrounded by were a moaning set of knuts

Every pass was forward, i fail to see how someone can see from one corner of the pitch to the other and call a forward pass!!, Wigan constantly "layed on"

Tbh, as a neutral i thought Thaler had an ok game he made a few mistakes for both sides and probably did not deserve the abuse he got

Wakefield's kicking game in the first half was shocking, and it didn't really pick up in the second.

Have to say though Wigan are not the same outfit as when we last played them, and Ainscough is a class act for a young kid

Looking forward to our rematch with Wigan and hopefully some revenge against Wakey

Thaler did make some mistakes, often when you are supporting your side it seems worse! But Wigan did slow us down at the PTB as much as they could which I thought Thaler should have done more about, warned them 2 times.

The ref has nothing to do with the result, Wigan cained us down the wing which is normaly solid.

As for kicking game in first half it was crap straight to full back every time but 2nd half it did improve for the better thank god, but was not enough.

The best team won on the day.

There just playing to what they know they can get away with. This season all the refs seem to be have told to not give to many penalties and let the game flow. Though if they had cracked down on the holding down at the PTB early on then it would flow even more.
