Cheers mate. Am really proud of the guys tonight. Five first teamers out and to lose Goldy and still be in there with seconds to go when everyone, myself included, thought we were in for a hammering early doors. A thoroughly entertaining game for the neutrals I would imagine, not as much skill as we would have hoped for in a game between these two sides but the weather put paid to that.

When the injured return we should be a force to be reckoned with, we just need to stay in touch with those above us and to learn how to defend the way Leeds did in the second half

We may have lost but those boys gave us everything they had and that is all we can ask for as fans.

The best team won, simple as.

Both video ref decisions were spot on, don't think you can complain about them.

So the best team had 3 times less ball then the opposition?

The best team had 4 or 5 blatant penalties ignored?

Best team lost, on another night Cas would have won easily.

luck smuck

you had a guilt edged chance to win the game ferres blew the inside ball

you had a great chance for a drop goal and missed

with a minute to go leeds had the ball on their 20 and somehow managed to get deep within your own half in about 40 seconds when they had barely made it up to halfway all game.

It was unlucky i guess but you have to take your chances.

No they didn't because Cas lost. If it was the other way round and Cas were on the back foot for 70 minutes and pipped it at the end you'd be screaming blue murder the best team lost.

The only thing that saved Leeds today was refereeing decisions, once again Cas fall foul or bad decisions.

Cas were the best team because:
They had more possession
Higher completion rate
Looked more likely to score points

Leeds were very lucky, end of.

We played without Burrow for most of the game. Donald also went off injured and so did Burgess. not bad really is it to win with those 3 injured.
