crusaders v Cas switched : Tue Jun 22, 2010 5:16 pm
http://www.castigers.com/article.php?id=849

Date and venue changed for our clash with Celtic.

When the fixtures come out, some of us work our holidays around them. We also book our days off work in advance so that we an make certain fixtures. When will the RFL realise this? (I know it is Crusaders in this instance) I'm now not going to this game since it's on a day when i'm working as opposed to one where i wasn't working before. Also it's a shame as i fancied going to Wrexham and was actually looking forward to the trip.

Getting older is mandatory; growing up is optional.

I'd love to know why the club have "reluctantly agreed" to the switch. That suggests they could've simply said "No". Is it really that difficult?

Since when have the RFL been bothered about supporters that have supported traditional clubs for years ?

They are only interested in the 'new' supporter aren't they ?

2009 The Year of the Tiger!!!! (In a rugby league year)

Re: crusaders v Cas switched : Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:18 am
Have you noticed a fixture at least changes every year for us!!! Its either ground changes or dates in France. Notice they made sure that Catalan had to play cas after the Internation so that the games had to be made on a stupid Tuesday night. Now this!!! I'm not suprised.

Next Year they will say our game against wakey is in Dubai or something similar

Somewhere nice.

Re: crusaders v Cas switched : Wed Jun 23, 2010 9:36 am
It's a PR stunt at our expense.
It just stacks the odds against our team in what should be a winnable game. More travelling, a more partisan crowd possibly and more than likely them gettting in for next to nowt.
If we had a choice we should of said no but i doubt it was as simple as that, we probably said yes with our arm held up behind our back with pressure from the RFL not to rock the boat.
I just hope the team can use it as a positive to go and beat them, i'm hopeful. :)

Being at Wrexham, I would have gone. Its only a couple of hours away. Well Done RFL. take more spectators away from the game

More chance of me platting fog than going there, why do we stand sh!te like this, all they are doing is saying to the RFL. look at us we are trying to expand the game in sheep shagging land, it does nothing for us, bar travelling another 2 hours

I think all cas fans should boycot this game, and put 2 fingers up at the RFL.
