Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

For all those people now faced with the prospect of having to self isolate and wondering how to pass the time, can I suggest something to do that is interesting, enjoyable, educational and cheap. It is to start writing a novel based on your own life and times.
This was something that I started to do in 1988.
It was inspired by three things: firstly by my interest in and knowledge of in rugby league, its history and its many characters, secondly having my family tree going back to 1777 and thirdly the old saying about work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".
Based on my experiences gained, I have now written some general advice about to get started and do this. If this interests you contact me at wgeofflee@gmail.com with your name, location and club supported and I'll send it to you.
However if you would rather read one of my novels first, start off with my latest novel. It is called "Three Good Years" and is set during the 2006, 7 and 8 seasons with a background of work, family life, saving the NHS and Rugby League.
It is available from London League Publications. Visit their web site at http://www.llpshop.co.uk. Click on Books and then Fiction.
