That's when Widnes were good though Mick, finishing 7th and 9th in 2002 and 2003 unlike when they beat and then drew with Bradford in 2005

Leeds allowed them to be close and deserved to lose. IIRC the second game was a live sky game and Leeds were awful that night and deserved to lose.
