One thing an extended period outside of the top flight does to a team is it sorts out the true fans from the fickle ones!
I was a part of the 1200 that turned up week in week out getting beat by clear 50/60pts a game. I travelled home and away come rain or shine to watch Hull KR take some of the biggest beatings and also some of the most entertaining rugby i've seen in or out of the Super League.
It is fans like the original poster that clubs will lose once the team goes out of the top flight (doubt that would ever happen to you guys though). I have had to get to games upto two hours earlier just to get my spot in our East stand since we got promotion all because "fans" like these want to come and watch a successful team. Yes their money their choice also their money keeps success coming to a club and without our rise of about 600% since our promotion year we wouldnt have finished 4th last year and probably be back in the second tier by now.
Just remember though you true supporters, Leeds are one of the biggest names in World Rugby League and a few defeats at the start of a season is no reflection on how you will finish come September.
I reckon that if you were REALLY were serious about working, you'd have gone down the job-centre by now and applied for even the least prestigious job possible, which you might have a 90% chance of getting. The fact that you probably haven't done any of those things, or even considered going to college/university to earn some worthwhile qualifications which might make you an asset to a potential employer, is a sad indictment of your character.
Every application form I’ve filled out has been rejected because my name is on some sort of blacklist to keep me terminally unemployed. The kind of blacklist that someone has gone through some considerable effort to put me on. This conspiracy against me is flattening any potential I had before I obviously touch a nerve of a very powerful person or organisation.
The minute they start offering euthanasia for the terminal unemployed at Dignitas the better. If they offer euthanasia for the terminally ill then why not the terminally unemployed?
I like the way that everyone seems to think i am a troll when i am just sharing my opinion. Thats what forums are for i thought sharing your own honest opinion just because other people do not like it that does not mean it should not be shared.
I have never left a Rhinos match as disappointed as i did tonight. We were terrible i know we have injuries but thats no excuse. No way i will be going to Wigan spending my very own money next week . Hull KR showed us how its done on and off the field tonight brilliant effort. Get it sorted Leeds and now.
to be honest i enjoyed last nights game it was a lot better than harquins game yes so the standard isnt that high at the minute, but tight competitive games of rugby is why we watch the games result in doubt to the end thats what i enjoy watching not 2 sub standard teams with 1 hammering other
