| Last night got me thinking about how lucky I've been with my support of the rhinos. I first really got into supporting the team properly in 03/04 and ever since they've had a huge amount of success and I feel quite privileged to have been a part of this era of outstanding achievement at the club. Anyway, this got me thinking about what will happen when this obviously talented group of players has to split up and not only how we can go about developing the new breed but also how we can keep hold of some of our greats. Take Kevin Sinfield, a great player, leader and professional, not only an ambassador and role model for the club and rugby league but for sport in general. I think that we need to keep these people such as Sinfield, and maybe Burrow, McGuire involved with the club, maybe in a coaching role? Or I know Burrow is a trained physio. These are valuable assets to the club and personally, I believe we should utilise them after they hang up their boots, to continue to winning ways at Leeds.

| To put this era into perspective.
Before 2004 in the previous 100 or so years, leeds won 3 titles.
Now, we've won 5 in 8 years. We are bloody lucky to be watching the current team. But i have faith in the structures at the club and the development of young players and believe the culture can continue to breed success even when some of the greats retire.

| We have some great youngsters coming through the ranks in the academy, and it will be important to look after these kids and nurture them, because one day they will be the next generation of Rhinos first team. Any influence that people like Sinny, Rob Burrow, and other senior pros at the club now can have can only be a good thing, as we develop the first team of the future.
Having said all that though, this year hasnt ended up too badly has it, for a team supposed to be in a transitional period.

| I started watching in '77 and had 25+ years of frustration and heartbreak, the worst being Widnes bouncing a ball off the crossbar to score a winning try in a CC semi.
Apart from the win against London at Wembley all the success has been since I moved South !
The generation of supporters watching this team is watching the best Leeds team ever, made even more remarkable that the success has been with 3 separate coaches.
Somebody mentioned about Sinfield being the greatest ever Loiner, there probably have been dozens of players with greater skills over the years, but I would say Sinfield has been the important Leeds player ever and the key reason we have had this great era.
