Do all the people who think its ridiculous that Handley hasnt been picked for GB think hes good enough to play on the wing for GB?

Its ridiculous he got flown out there i agree but its not ridiculous hes not playing for GB.

Id find it insulting and ridiculous if he did play. Hes ok is Ash. OK shouldnt warrant a GB shirt.

It’s insulting to play a stand off who has no real experience of playing on the wing, in front of a winger who scored 22 tries there to laying for the 8th best team in the comp last year, especially when you’ve flown him half way around the world to tell him he’s not playing.

Is he good enough to play for GB? Well that’s a totally different question, and one you could ask of many of the current squad.

Agreed, he’s only just good enough for Super League, he shouldn’t be near the national side, we are so short of quality outside backs Bennett feels he has no choice but play players out of position

I think all that anyone is challenging is the absurdity of flying him over for the 9s then home, then back out to only not play him. Its neglegent.

And on top of this fiasco, the only reason he was chosen over someone else was because he’s already had his vaccinations from when the knights went to PNG.

Handley should of been playing from the start. Ryan Hall has hardly played at all this season for the Roosters, and coming off an injury as well doesn't help. Handley I believe played every game last season, and came joint second highest try scorer. Then has experience against the PNG squad while playing for the Knights last year. Surely this should of been a no brainier instead of putting a half back on the wing. Feel sorry for the poor lad.
