I wouldnt be suprised if Tindall got released and Will Gatus replaced him in the squad. Broadbent is a rare typical centre, but agree he might ply his trade on the wing a while first. I don’t know whether Edwards/ Simpson might pass him as centres too.

Jack needs to get a bit more physical but he’ll get there.

Levi will pass Jack as a centre i feel and i say that as someone who has a lot of time for Jack but ultimately Levi has to play somewhere. Hes going to be a bit special.

Newman has one centre spot locked down if, as we all hope, he stays long term.

I really l like Broadbent as a centre so to hear you say that about Levi is very interesting. How long do you think before is breaking into the first team - 2022/23 or will he need a bit longer?

Have to see, its all opinion but Levi is going to breakthrough and it looks like centre will be his position. They cant both play there while Newman is around.

Theres no rush tho with Levi hes still a baby really.

Don't forget Broadbent is behind Sutcliffe in the pecking order for centre.

...though after this season it doesn’t take much imagination to anticipate Newman or Sutcliffe being sidelined for periods. Then Broadbent is likely playing 3rd choice wing and centre and behind him we’re looking at very inexperienced (and in some cases, out of position) players for both positions. Surprised at Briscoe leaving in some ways given he’s likely at the lower end of the cap and there’s not much depth there, can only assume there’s a plan for any available cap that can be found or Luke wanted to go back part time.

Broadbent reminds me of Ashley Gibson. Classy player, but lacks and size and genuine pace to be world class. He'll have a good career though if he avoids serious injury.
