I don’t get why people feel the need to say lauding a success like this is an issue.
It’s clear the on field performance hasn’t been good enough.
But at some point you have to be a fan of the game and if we had a few more clubs run off the field like ours is we’d be in a lot better place as whole.

The gradings are worthless for me, they basically reflect what the Super League clubs want, a system that closes the shop to protect themselves, but will actually weaken the game as a whole.
To be honest, Leeds are running fine, they have solid income and could run a pro setup even if one of the main income streams is severely reduced because they have multiple big ones, but they could be run better.
On the field the issues with the squad have been clear to me for 10-15 years, and hopefully this off season is a sign of a change of direction, rather than a one off. Even off the field, I always think we could be doing better. No point comparing ourselves to other clubs that are not sitting on a level playing field, just build on our own success/weaknesses. e.g our average crowds are lower than they were a few years back, and since I started watching our stadium capacity has steadily getting smaller showing we don't intend to grow those numbers (and we still don't fill it for big games).
