To be fair we were scrambling due to Nene's non-return from OZ, which made his place in the squad untenable. Maybe we could have done better than Momirovski, but he did have decent pedigree. He seems like a reasonably good centre, but not the sort of game-breaker we probably need, which Macdonald was.
