Got some tickets for "The Long Bar" for Friday night? Where abouts is it, what is it?? I can't recall seeing it when Ive been at Headingly? Is it just a corporate bar?Cheers

Its in the Headingley Lodge, go to the right hand side door looking at it from the back - its a nice bar for Irish jig fans.

It's basically the players bar, and is located in the new(ish) East Stand on the cricket side. There's an awful lot of "suits" in there, and if it's the same as previous seasons you'll get to hear an awful Oirish band as well.

Cheers.... Someone said you want these tickets and I just said yes thinking I can always pass them on if not. I'll probably go have a look now after the game see what I think.

Not really relevant to this discussion, but you do get a great view of the cricket pitch from in there. I'd really like to watch a days play from there.
