I work on my own. I can pick whoever I want as long as I don't use company time or E-mail or internet or anything else because fun is banned where I work.
I did participate in the NFL sweepstakes last year- Buffalo Bills were rubbish - but after one E-mail went out we were warned not to do any of it on company E-mail or time - that was that that. What a bunch of miserable cnutts I work for. F*******g Americans are hopless. Our company meetings are as much fun as being microwaved (and sober at that). Big event in January was to.... go bowling, then back to bed by 9pm. Whoohoo! High Five!!!
In August (we have our summer meeting in the middle of August so it's impossible for me to take 2 weeks holiday together when the kids are off school - cheers lads), we went to a baseball game - there is nothing more boring on planet Earth than baseball. It makes cricket look like 3D dwarf porn. We were given a $20 voucher for drinks and food for the evening (and as it's $10 for a barely edible hot dog and $7.50 for a weak lager that's not saying much).
