How? There were other players around. Not disputing a try would have been scored, but certainly not certain he would have got any nearer the posts.

When you consider the amount of times what seems certain try's been stopped by foul play, and no penalty try given.

It was a try in the corner. Had Halley fumbled the touchdown that could have perhaps justified the ruling but as he scored anyway it was an odd call from Alibert. As Oldham is right to point out it was a call heavily influenced by Ganson, who as we all know has his own copy of the rules buried deep within his planet (or peanut) sized brain.

by far the best was russell, its only cos he had connections with bradford and cas that you dont like him, its different with silverwood though because he was a leeds fan before he took up refereeing. remember the first game last season against hull kr when he made sure that you won the game. good old richard eh.
