I doubt that'll even get read let alone acted upon. Your doing right thing cxd your dd. If they then send you a bill after you've intructed to cancel - get through to payments section (i'm sure there will be one who will answer as they're after money ) and tell them you instructed to cancel. Make sure you keep a record of your instruction to cancel if you need to use it for evidence.

Really wow.. my brother had the same trouble, he sent email after email to which he never got a reply..

nice one. I very nearly got it myself for the nrl until i saw they'd reduced the games... are they meant to be in financial difficulties?

These lot are garbage, I rang to cancel and they told me to write in and tell them!!

I said I didn't want to write which is why I had rang but they wouldn't budge.

I then offered to write an email which again they refused, so in the end I gave up and am stuck with it.

Just cancel your direct debit pal, setanta are known for being really hard to get rid of!
