This bit sounds a bit whiney:

Sounds more like he's up for a challenge to me, in these challenging times and all that, challenge cup, an stuff, you know...

We all know what happened to clubs who budgeted each year to reach Wembley and win the CC.

They sold out to Tesco's and are now a distant 2nd most important club at their current ground.

Hetherington has been, and continues to be very shrewd with the money at Leeds, and the club is in hell of a better state now pre-Hetherington (and Caddick).
Leeds have never felt the need to cheat their way to success, unlike the 2nd best team in the league
