You'll be sat in the North stand and as said, most people pay on the gate so I wouldn't hold your seat on the ticket as gospel besides it's unlikely to be full with it been on Sky.

we park on the estate the other side of the bridge. Never had any problems getting out or anything but as McLaren said remove your flags & stickers etc.

Has anyone ever been drinking in the centre before? We are getting the train accross for around 12ish. Where is there to go?

Try the Brickmaker's Arms down Walton Street, which runs along side the Stadium. Usually popular with away fans and a good atmosphere. In the city centre you could try Admiral of the Humber, a Wetherspoons pub at the top of Anlaby Road not too far from the train/bus station.
