1) Our 50% completion rate was shocking
2) Did we ever used to chuck this many forward passes ?
3) Congratulations to whoever brought the 'Get Out Of Jail Free' card this week.
4) Ganson was a joke. His penalties were inconsistant and we were no way 10 - 1 the worst team on the park (notice how he chucked a few in right at the end to 'even it up' a bit ?)
- Senior's penalty for a 'high' was laughable. Either it was high, in which case there must have been scores of other similar offences missed by both sides. Ignore the guff from 'Waldorf & Stadler' about it being a grapple. If that's a grapple, then again the game was littered with them.
- Webb binning was another 'get Leeds' decision. By the time Webb got off him, I counted four (five usually being the level for a penalty). Obst's final stumble, Webb isn't even touching him. It is not a penalty if a player cannot get to their feet without interferance.
- Ablett gets lifted and dumped in touch .... Head & feed to Wakefield. Leeds do exactly the same thing moments later = Penalty.
- The penalty for the kick through, where Ablett got a further 10 yards for dissent was another piece of clueless refereeing. Ganson claim's that Ablett 'moved his foot'. Defending players are not obliged to move out of the way and it is not a penalty when attackers throw themselves at Peacock and come off second best. If the 4th official is allowed to make comments to the match referee during the game, then why isn't something like that called ?
- Sideshow Bob's try was clearly a knock on from several angles. You can see it pass through his hands and Petersen knock it on. You can see the hand make contact and the ball change direction. How the video referee missed it is beyond me UNLESS there is some ulterior agenda ? Was it really that difficult, especially since they were happy with Ablett's touchline run in the first half.
5) Leeds came very close to losing tonight, mainly by giving Danny Brough acres of space to run around and kick Leeds to death. Did we learn nothing from the 2005 Cup Final defeat ? We must have given masses of space if we allowed a one-trick pony like Obst the room to hurt us.
6) Sinfield's short kick off was excellent
7) Atkins had a great game against Senior, but Senior had a even better one ...
8 ) As has been mentioned on here Dale Ferguson looks a decent player and looked the pick of the Wakey pack and I wouldn't mind him in a Leeds shirt.
And the Brad Drew Mystery ?
Where he's going now that Terry Newton is programming Belle Vue in to his Sat Nav ...

Does that include the one from Hall for Burrow's try.
