Fair enough but he should be putting the pressure on us to win it and he's right, we DO have an advantage.

We have 2 rest weekends in August, just before the playoffs start, we play Warrington (at home) the week before their semi final and we play Saints (at home) the Friday after the cup final.

There can really be no excuses for McLennan.

I agree, and the squad of players.

Agree 100%. I'd add we've had an advantage since we got knocked out of the cup and should have done better up to now. Should we not do the buisness in the GF, this season will have been a total and utter failure. (Obviousley any serious injuries can't be helped, should it affect the season's outcome).

Not so sure it is a utter failure. But it certainly makes a mokery of GH saying we have the best squad of players at start of season.

Not winning the WCC, getting knocked out of the Challenge Cup at the first hurdle with home advantage, (and if it comes to pass) not finishing league leaders and/or not winning the Grand Final will hardly rate as a successful campaign for the reigning champions.

GH also adds 'we only have 25 players'

Who's fault's that, probably 8 of those are only kids still learning so stop churning out the excuses. You had your chance to add some quality/experience and declined

Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

Leeds are still the best team in the competition so if we do have to play them I would hope it's at Knowsley Road with home advantage giving us a chance to knock them out. If somehow we end up playing them at Old Trafford I can only see one outcome

The Institute for Historical Study is a new form of scholarly community, dedicated to sharing research and ideas and to providing a public forum for the discussion of history.
A nonprofit, public benefit corporation chartered by the State of California, the Institute for Historical Study promotes interchange between independent and academically affiliated scholars in a wide range of historical fields. Its aims are threefold:

to promote the study and discussion of history as a field of knowledge outside the traditional classroom setting and in the broader public arena.

to promote the production of fine historical scholarship.

to promote such scholarship not only in areas of traditional historical focus, but in areas of the past largely unresearched and unexplored.
