Don’t know about overrated, but can think of plenty who arrived with a big rep, hype, expectations who for various reasons just didn’t delive. Barnhill, Sam Backo, Mullins, Ben Walker.
Overrated recently, Gale lets face it couple good seasons at Cas when they where on a crest of a wave, but distinctly average since.
Tom Briscoe is bafflingly overrated, how he is still playing in Super League never mind at Leeds i don’t know. 5 trys in a one sided CC cup final is not worth 7 seasons of championship std performance. Should have gone 5 years ago.

Mullins was class . Just had a season ender in his first game and spent the rest of the season in the sky rack!

Don't be silly man. Easy for me to say as a Wiganer but he was top quality. Even though i hate Saints, Sculthorpe, Prescott, Lyon, Gidley, Roby etc etc were also world class.

The most ridiculously overrated player in modern times is Jake Trueman. I don't even think he is a decent player. Pretty poor actually but the sky sports pundits seem to think he is the Darren Lockyer incarnate.

Trueman will come good. Had a really serious injury last year and will take him another 3/12 to get some form. Cas look dier under Rads so that won’t help….
Suspect We could sign him to replace Austin next Season….
