I kind of agree on Newman but in the flip side if he goes well and comes through injury free it could do him the world of good confidence wise and maybe Wane will tell him to sort his attitude out

Or he gets injured and misses start of season for us, or goes of on one in England camp and brings undue attention to himself!

Maybe but I don’t think it would be great of the club to deny him an England shirt when hes missed out in the last few years

England Hang On For Victory Over Tonga In the First Test Kristian Woolf returned to the Totally Wicked Stadium, this time in charge of a Tongan side starting an historic three game test series against an England side under the control of Shaun Wane who was looking to banish thoughts of a disappointing World Cup last November. England gave debuts to rising stars Mikey Lewis and Harry Newman but were without regular skipper George Williams who will miss the opening two games through suspension, the skippers arm band being thrown in the direction of rugby prodigy Jack Welsby, captaining his international side for the first time, and on his home ground. Pleased with Mikey Lewis`s performance today.
Big test if he can maintain it.
Is Williams free to play next week?
Be a shame to drop Lewis after that performance.

Hope Wane lets those playing well stay in the team, and drops those that don't. He seemed to have a team in mind at the world cup and didn't account for form through the tournament.

As for Newman, hopefully he gets an ego check from this series. He has potential if he stops believing his own hype, and improves his skills, especially team work!
