I just don’t like how we keep messing about with the colours and designs, Blue and Amber is our brand and we should stick to it IMO, it’s not difficult to make them different every year it just takes a decent designer.
“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”
The quality is a problem, they release so much stuff, and they discount it quickly so monkeys and typewriters.
When I have been tempted to order something I want to see it in person first, I went in the shop we used to have in the Merrion centre and everything was made of that cheap plasticy material so that's put me off for a long while. After what happened with the England world cup kit, I can't be sure I am buying a kit I'll see the team actually wear.
What on earth has happened to our once great club ? Has it really come to this, turning out in a fake Leeds United shirt bought from Seacroft Market in the 1980’s. Rob Oates is a nice fella, but trumpeting this shirt because it’s “so different from last seasons “ sums up everything that is currently wrong at Headingley. What about a shirt that is blue and amber, remember those colours ? What about a shirt that is easily recognisable in historically correct, true colours that represents heritage and pride ( and I mean the old fashioned use of the word pride ). I’m not renewing our season tickets for the first time in over 20 years, due to the way Rugby League has deviated so far from the true game and style it once was. I’m 57, hardly ancient, but to see what the RFL and clubs have done to our once great game takes some swallowing. This cheap, Leeds United training top might appeal to some younger followers or someone works on the highways, but for me it’s the final nail in the coffin at Headingley. Jesus Christ.

he's right in so much as the home kit should always be in your traditional colours, even though I don't mind the shirt. you mess about with the change kit. or magic kit. or red nose kit. or centenary kit. or whatever other excuse there is to fleece the fans
