That's the encouraging thing IMO.

Both Delaney and Eastwood (ok might not work out that one) are young lads who are coming to play Rugby League, not to top up their pension funds.

Absoloutley. Good move by the club.

McClennan's comments sound good about the lad. Good to see he got in the city country game too so he's definately no dudd.

Head Coach Brian McClennan welcomed the signing of Delaney, he commented, “Brett is a quality addition to our squad for next season. He has done a great job for the Titans for past three seasons making over 50 appearances in the NRL and played in the City v Country match last season. However, he is still only 23 and it is a positive that he is still keen to learn and develop. You reckon?

Have you read some of the quotes attributed to Eastwood since the whole visa fiasco kicked off? Hardly sounds heartbroken about not being able to come to Leeds, and it wouldn't surprise me if the stayed at the Doggies for 2010.

I think he pretty much said he was coming for the money for his family or similar

My main worry as has been said already is that the kid has a sheet!! Surley gh would have made sure we arnt gonna have another visa mess on our hands!!

I'd take that as meaning he wanted to stay at the Titans. Given he's been there since they started, and he was talking to the local paper, I can totally understand him saying that.
