I don't disagree. But IMO the club have a history of being financially conservative and I don't see that changing whilst we are in the midst of major stadium redevelopment.

I agree but I think that the view may be that if we can stay in the top 6 and be challenging for some silverware, that will keep the faithful turning up in sufficient numbers to fill the reduced capacity stadium while the re-building is completed. I expect gradual year on year, steady away, squad improvement.
