Agreed, Queensland, NSW and Australia regularly move players between Centre, Wing and Full Back to fit the best players into a match day squad, I don’t think spending a bit of time on the wing will do Newman any harm.

suppose it'd be at a much lower cost in terms of transfers too. Cant see the likes of Farrell coming to RL anytime soon, but possibility of others

If his head is in the right space, he’ll be awesome over here. A gamble signing, but could pay off big time for Wire. I’d have had him in a heartbeat.

You could be right, but Wire have had a few NRL props come over with big reputations over the last 15 years, and the majority of them have been disappointing.
