Report says that Hull KR were offering more money than us to keep him in England but Ablett turned it down to go to Aus as he wants the life experience for himself and young family and wants his kids to be able to settle into School there whilst they are still young

Like I said before if some of the NRL clubs cannot afford him due to his wage demands then what chance have we got?

Because most of their players are on good money, so fitting him in becomes a bigger problem when sticking to a cap including other high paid. We on the other hand have a marque signing loop hole that can accomodate above figure x. In addition our own salary cap goes up next year anyway.

Sounds like he may want to go there for good. I know he went down last winter and spent time with moon and his parents.

GH has always said he would not make marquee signings. Austin would be an exciting signing but a big change of salary strategy
