The worrying aspect of this season for me would be the complete lack of structure with ball in hand. It's reminiscent of 2006 under Smith, when the entire gameplan seemed to be for someone to come up with a miracle individual play and the support players to feed off it.
Compare the way Leeds move the ball in attacking positions to just about every other team in the comp, and they at least look like they have a plan even if they lack the talent to execute it properly.
This hits the nail on the head for me.
Echoes my comments on a number of other threads.
We rely too much on moments of individual brilliance, especially close to our opponent's line.
This hasn't improved in the 20 0r so years that I've been watching the Rhinos.
Hence teams with inferior players (eg Bradford on Friday, Cas last season and Wakefield on occasions) have beaten us from time to time.
That is not to say that we have a divine right to win.
