| I've not seen anything yet that says he won't be a Leeds player next year so I won't be spending my time fretting over something that's not happening. It's almost as if some people want to worry themselves by convincing themselves it's going to happen and fear the worst and already sharpen their claws to slam the club for letting it happen.

Alternatively, this is a Leeds Rhinos forum, concerning all things Leeds Rhinos, where people opine, debate, discuss, speculate, review, critique all things remotely related to Leeds Rhinos.

| is this clause in his contract for an NRL return open ended or does he have to trigger it by a certain date. Its all very well him saying hes enjoying it so much hes doing to stay it might be a different story when hes back in Oz over the winter and back with his mates and agents/club officials in his ear with offers

If its open ended it is ridiculous which is what most people are worried about. as hooker is such a key position, and one we have struggled to fill with quality in recent times the possibility of being left with a bargain bin hooker at anytime up to the start of the year is concerning. Some have said the contract loop hole is closed by a certain date some time soon, but who knows really? until we see it confirmed in black and white one way or the other it is all guess work.

| Mitch Rein is Falloon with less attacking threat, as summed up by his being part of the worst attacking spine in the NRL (along with Widdopp, Marshall and Dugan). I'd rather not waste an overseas spot on that calibre of player - we're far more likely to get decent mileage out of a lower league hooker, who wouold also be cheaper.

=#0000FF[i“There’s a lot more freedom. It is not all about the wrestle and stuff like that. It is a lot more of a free-flowing game, it is not so structured as NRL. It is sort of like playing footy when you are growing up and you are having fun and stuff like that. It is more enjoyable in that sense. I am not bagging the NRL, it’s the benchmark competition, but this is just awesome. It is really scaring me because I can see myself staying for a very long time.”[/i
[i“It exceeded my expectations, the fans are great and the game brings such a good atmosphere, I want to play another season here and won’t be returning to the NRL in 2017.”[/i
Looks like he is staying?

Liam Hood, Adam O`Brien, Robbie Ward ( whatever happened to him), Boudebza, Pellisier excuse the spelling.
Not all lower league players but would be a cheaper option as a back up hooker.
Thoughts?
