I think if you look at recent signings in SL history, players like Yates and Satae have been way way more effective than Tetavano despite not having 10% of his CV or reputation.

I'm up for recruiting smart rather than big names.

Backing his coaching acumen and his ability to spot talent, which I would trust because of his background in the QLD cup.

I don’t care about the name of e people we sign, I completely trust Smith to sign players of the right quality. I also don’t expect that we completely remould the squad in the first off season. That said, we do t need more three year project players, it’s starting props we need.

I don't think we will be signing starting props until Prior and Tetevano leave.

Me either, and that’s why I’d be pushing them out of the nest…

Prior’s wife is expecting, there must be a retirement and something we can do there off cap. Tetevano needs to go to the Dolphins.

While I don’t disagree, the later it is the harder it is to get the two frontline props to replace them, if that wiggle room can be found.

Just cant see Prior walking away from probably £100k plus contract and i doubt GH would offer a retirement package.Tetevano i haven't seen linked with a return.I think the player would be all over it if he could get a deal as he's been a disastrous signing.

There is a decent player in Tetevano somewhere - maybe Smith can get the best out of him in his last year?

The optimist in me hopes with a more balanced front row/support from the likes of Sangare, the returning Holroyd and Walters, both prior and Tet might have better years if they do stay next year.
