Kaka looks like he's off to Madrid 6 months after declaring his undying love for Milan when Man City were after him!

Shevchenko is well past his best now. Wouldn't surprise me if Seedorf, Nesta and Dida all went, the rest of Chelsea is just as old!

If Liverpool want to be more consistent and battle for trophies they shouldn't be looking to buy average players like Barry. Mascherano and Alonso are miles better.
Liverpool were quite consistent, they were the better of the top 4 against each other, they constantly drew with crap teams.
Manchester United were not special this year, i know it's all if's and buts and 2 games straight out of my head could have easily won Liverpool the Title.
Liverpool v Stoke at home a goal was dissalowed still to this day what for i dont know would have given Liverpool 2 more points.
Man Yoo v Sunderland Man Yoo sneaked a last gasp victory that got them the other 2 points.
Man Yoo didnt win the title this year Liverpool lost it.
I agree about Barry though and i'm over joyed we can close that chapter.
I have my own ideas where Liverpool need to improve and the centre of Midfield certainly isnt one of them

Being the first ever team to lose 2 games all season and not win the title proves that really. Middlesborough away was a bad loss too!

Temptation, greets you like your naughty mate,
The one that used to get you in bother,
But one that you could never bring yourself to hate.

He's right though, if you want to find a Liverpool, M*nchester United debate I'm sure you can find about 12 in the other sports forum.
Back to the topic, who do we want to see come in if Beckford does go? I think Mifsud is probably the most viable (cheap) option.
We're also being linked with a young American winger called Salvatore Zizzo who currently plays for Hannover in Germany. He's half decent on Footy Manager 08 at least

Can't be that good if he is being linked to us!
