If we let him go for £4m Bates still wont spend any money on transfers so what is the point. If he was going to let Grayson spend the money on new players i'd say take the money as he's no world beater but Bates will put the money in his bank account and we'll end up will free transfers and loan signings which is what we'll do if we keep him anyway. The Beckford transfer money wont get spent on players, hopefully he goes to Sheff U and we get Billy Sharp in exchange otherwise we'll get another Showunmi thats OOC or on loan.
