Turned it off after listening to the 1st caller, some West Ham supporting pr1ck from Leeds whinging about having Martin O Neill as a potential manager. I hope he gets what he wants for next season , beautiful football..............in the Championship.

Hope they go down. They're like Southampton used to be, waste of time them being in the top league but always just manage to scrape enough points to keep them in the prem every year. Bet they end up staying up this season too even though they've been the worst team this season by a mile!

You're not wrong, he's an inarticulate prick that makes you detest footballers.
Then he'll go on about how he's played more than 200 games in the premier league therefore his opinion is worth more than the callers.

I dont know on the odd occassions Savage does hit the nail on the head. It's just when he wanders off into his world and starts sermonising that you realise that yes he is a pr!ck.

Yeah Savage is a complete and utter moron, but that's why people tune in to 606 to hear some of the dross that he comes out with or to ring up and abuse him, they wouldn't get half the listeners if they had someone like Tim Sherwood on it.

Brilliant result on Saturday aswell. Wednesday should be a laugh. Watching Arsenal get beat 2-0.

Its monkeys and typrewriters though I think.

What I can't believe is how arrogant he is, and how he shouts over everyone who doesn't agree with him

Got admire Ken Bates, slashing the price of replica kits, if it was his idea. The away kit is 50% off, home kit 30%. They will shift a lot before the Arsenal game. He knows how to milk every penny.

You mean after milking fans at Christmas knowing many would buy kits, then immediately after slashing the prices?

He knows alot of the crowd will be turning up in there "Thistle Hotels" shirts and will buy them. Its good business, more money goes into the club and its cheaper for the fans too!

How long ago was xmas again? Why not in the January sales like everybody else?

I mean milking it as in slashing the price a few days before Leeds' one and only sell out crowd this season...As Gandy pointed out a fair few Thistle Hotels/Packard Bells will be in force.
